A receipt tracker for a construction business has one job: get every receipt off the truck and into a row with the date, merchant, total, tax and the job it belongs to. Slipsheet does that with one row per receipt, the job code in client_tag, and one CSV your office or bookkeeper can open.

From the truck to the office
On site, take a photo of the receipt on your phone. Later, upload it to Slipsheet on the web as a JPG, PNG, HEIC or PDF file. Suppliers that email receipts can go straight in too: on a paid plan, forward the email with the receipt attached.
Each receipt becomes one row. Before it goes into an export, you check the date, merchant, total and tax, pick a category, and add the job.
Put the job code where it travels
Use client_tag for the job number or job name, and notes for a cost code, phase or truck. Because both are columns in the export, the job goes wherever the row goes.

One receipt is always one row; Slipsheet doesn't merge receipts. Once you export, totals by job are a filter or a SUMIF in your own spreadsheet:

What the export looks like
Slipsheet exports one CSV named slipsheet-YYYYMMDD.csv with nine columns: date, merchant, total_amount, currency, tax_amount, category, client_tag, notes, file_name. The column walkthrough explains each one. The file opens in Excel; if supplier names with accents look wrong, this CSV guide shows the import steps.
Google Sheets sync is on Pro, so rows can land in a sheet the office already uses. Excel and Microsoft 365 sync are coming soon. QuickBooks and Xero take the CSV through their import; there is no direct connection.

How do I get receipts from the job site into Slipsheet?
Take a photo of the receipt on your phone, then upload the JPG, PNG or HEIC file, or upload a PDF. On a paid plan you can also forward a supplier's emailed receipt with the file attached.
How do I keep receipts organized by job?
Put the job code in the client_tag column and anything finer, like a cost code or phase, in notes. After export, filter or total by client_tag in your spreadsheet.
Can my bookkeeper bring it into QuickBooks or Xero?
